The public waterfront.
The Warren Gateway is a mixed-use commercial development created to embrace the town’s history as a working waterfront, while returning public access to a landmark spot on the Warren River.
The project includes the historic restoration of the turn-of-century former National Grid building as well as a new building designated for commercial use and designed by Union Studio Architects in Warren.
The proposed Warren Gateway includes a gathering lawn, fishing pier, and boardwalk adjacent to the East Bay Bike Path. Potential tenants include a craft brewery, boutique hotel, and coffee shop and bakery.
Our concept was developed in collaboration with the Town of Warren with a shared vision for a “gateway” that serves as a neighborhood point of pride and preserves waterfront access for the future, for everyone.
